Ours have a new thing they do --  they don't go "off" --   they go ON -- but 
not "off".  apparently we are the  only ones  in a mile radius who notice this 
because as soon as we call and say, "should our sirens still be going off after 
an hour?" then they ..  go "off".

Neighbors lost a large tree limb and took out the electricity to several 
houses.  another neighbor called 911 -- saw the arcing lines and thought the 
house was on fire.
