I would like to see if maybe I could get SLAGA to come out and do a
presentation in February? I think it would be good to get this sport out to

Currently, map and compass skills are a must for the advancement of scouts.
You could still use map and compass skills and reinforce it with a cache
waiting at the final destination. I don't think too many leaders know about
this.

I have had several conversations with leaders who find it interesting and
would like to know more. There was an article in "The Dufflebag" about
Geocaching and told about some caches that were hidden on Scout property
like Beaumont and S-F. Some leaders asked me about it last month so I know
that there is an interest there.

If you are interested in doing a presentation to 75-100 Scout leaders,
please let me know. I can arrange the time and whatever presentation items
you might need.

Our February meeting is scheduled for Feb. 4th - 7:15PM Fort Zumwalt North
Middle School.
