- Okay, it's official. One big batch of salsa, and at least six pounds of chips. BTW, I make the salsa using tepin peppers. Jalapenos test at around 3,000 Scoville units, Habaneros/Scotch Bonnets at 20,000, and tepins come in at around 200,000. Very potent, very tasty. And Bridget can have some too.
