Mike, if you say it, it MUST be true. I went from a
Vista to the 60CS and I'm very impressed with it. Haven't had it that
long, but have never lost lock on it yet. I love my BMW. I went caching
down in Herman the other day. Just to try it out, I punched in a GC
number as I was heading down Hwy 70. It told me to turn on Hwy 19 and
then when I got into Herman, it showed every name of the street and
which way to turn to get to the cache. It took me to every cache turn
by turn. Bernie

After spending the weekend using a Magellan (because
GeoDude wouldn't turn loose of my Garmin) I must officially agree with
the Yugo designation for the Magellan and the BMW designation for a
Garmin. NO COMPARISON!!!
Edwin;
A long time ago, actually about 2 weeks,
Lazylightning mentioned something about the differences between a
Garmin and a Magellan. He said he didn't want to start a Chevy verses
Ford war but just had some basic questions.
I replied it wasn't Chevy vs. Ford, but more
like BMW vs. Yugo. Apparently the Magellan owners are content with
their "Yugo" status and have seen the light. :-)

Thanks to everyone that worked so hard to make this year's spring
picnic a
GREAT event. I had a wonderful time! Thanks also to the SLAGA campers
for
inviting me back to camp for leftovers. Please note that this event
marked
the inception of the YUGO Chapter of SLAGA (I vote for Strider as our
acting
YUGO Chapter Chairman :) ).
Thanks,
Jim
