About 3 months ago I recieved one simillar to that that said I had 5 days to
click on a link in the e and confirm my username and password which I DID NOT
do, it also had a file attatchment of some sort which I did not open. I e'd
PayPal about it and never got a follow up on it. Beware it's now a digital
jungle out there.
Any one ever heard of the ACR GYPSI 406 Personal Locator Beacon, only costs
$725.00 check it out at acrelectronics.com Saw this in Popular Science Dec
2003. Good for the long distance hiker who has a habbit of dropping their best
friend, I mean their GPSr.

Subject: [GeoStL] Paypal Expiring
I just recently received an email that stated my Paypal accout would
deactivate in 5 days unless I ran the attached update file. This is a pif file
and it is destructive. Do not run any such file if you receive it. The file
name is (www.paypal.com.pif)
Paypal accounts do not deactivate..
