[GeoStL] Re: PDA-Pocket PC

Bernie,

I am still attempting to go from a Palm to a Pocket PC now.
There are things I miss from the Palm, but the Pocket PC's
seem to be more intuitive on how to do things. I,
personally, like the Dells but they are pricy. A lot of my
co-workers use HP's. I'm still using my Palm for caching
because it still works and if I am going to ruin one, I'd
rather it not be the one I depend on for all my
appointments, etc.

The biggest question still comes into what are you going to
use it for? If caching is your primary activity, then
Cachemate and GPS Sonar are good to have. You'll need a
good Rhino case to protect it against breakage (I tend to
drop mine way too much), a car charger, GPS to Computer
cable, Screen protector, etc. As in anything else, spend
what you can afford. Bigger, faster, brighter are always
options you can spend lots of money on. Make sure it will
take a SD Card (or microSD) so that you can expand it
capability.

Steve
