I have just returned from my 2 week caching trip and I did not carry any printed cache descriptions. I had about 750 cache descriptions stored on my pda (I wasn't sure what way I might go in a few areas). I don't use mobipocket because it is quite slow and clumsy compared to other options available. I get my pocket queries as gpx files and use watcher to select and merge the descriptions into one gpx file. (watcher is a program by Clayjar and is available at http://clayjar.com/gc/temp/ ) I then use gpx2html (by fizzymagic) utility to convert the gpx file in to multiple html files. This program makes nice pda readable pages including the closest 5 caches to the one you are looking at. I then use plucker to load and view the files on my pda. Plucker is very fast, has a nice user interface and good search/sorting features. Information about gpx2html and plucker is available at http://home.attbi.com/~fizzymagic/gpx2html.html. I know that this all may seem very time consuming but I was able to do all 750 cache descriptions for my trip in under 2 hours and most of that time was just eliminating cache I was not interested in. Selecting and printing 750 cache sheets would have been a very difficult and time consumming task let alone keeping track of all that paper.

I for example i have an Ipaq. what can i download grom GC.com, and how do I do it?

Would I D/L wpts into easy GPS then to the PDA like I do with the Garmin or is it a whole different ballgame?

I have heard that you can get cache pages into the PDA. Is it more of a hasel than it is worth and how do I do that?
