To get gpx files you have to be a premium/charter member of geocaching.com and then you use pocket queries. When you select the file type select gpx file instead of loc file. If you get the gpx file you don't need to check the ebook format as you will not need it.

Can you tell me how you are downloading the .gpx files (that Watcher can
use) from GC.com, instead of the .loc files that EasyGPS uses?   I do know
that converted EasyGPS .loc files to .gpx do not work for Watcher.  I will
be using my Handspring Treo 90 (Palm OS) with a SD card.

Are you using the Pocket Queries, only available in the Premium Membership?
