It's Official! We have secured a spot at the outdoor expo in July. We will
need about 8 volunteers to setup and man a booth to hand out literature to
the public on Geocaching. We will have about 500 or 1000 brochures that we
will hand out explaining Geocaching and how to get started.
These people attending are outdoor enthusiasts and are interested in
anything from Shooting Sports to Hiking. Below is the email for the event..
Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering. We NEED the help.
We will setup at 7am and will tear down right at 4pm.

Let's give back to those who have supported Geocaching from the beginning.
You know that John Vogel has gone above and beyand to make sure we have
Weldon Spring and Busch available for caching.

Hello Outdoor Associate
We would like to thank your organization in joining us for our 2nd
annual Missouri Department of Conservation Outdoor Adventures Expo here
at the August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area in St. Charles.
Again the expo will be Saturday, July 30th and the gates will be open
for the public from 9am till 4pm. Exhibitors may set-up the night
before between the hours of 4pm and 6pm or we will have staff here on
the morning of the expo starting at 6:30am for exhibitors to set-up
before 9am.
We have been advertising on several of our MDC web sites of the
upcoming event with your names listed as attending. Additionally, we
have just mailed out 13,000 flyers and are delivering and posting
another 2,000 around the area. Along with the banners we have on hwy
40, we will be advertising in several papers and have sent out press
releases to all local TV and radio stations. We expect a good turn out
if the weather cooperates. Our last big event this year saw over 900
public members come through in just 6 hours.
We will be following up this email with a mailed letter too, attached
you will find a copy of the flyer that was mailed out if you would like
to email it to any email groups you have or print and post. If you have
