I'll be out there at 8.

If you come into Alton from the US 67 over the Lewis and Clark bridges,
beware that 67 does not connect with Rt 3. You have to take a connecter
road. I think there is a sign that says Alton Square or Rt 3. It is at the
second stop light after downtown Alton (i.e. the stop light after
(College/20th). Just turn right at the second stop light after downtown.
Then there is a stop sign go straight and turn left on Rt. 3 at the next
stop light.

To get to it, follow Rt. 3 until Levis Lane (N38 55.754 W90 12.774) and head
back to the Nature Preserve. At the fork, take South Levis Lane. there is a
sign at the entrance. Go past the lodge and park at N38 55.080 W90 13.449.

I guarantee great views.
