I would just like to put in my two cents.... first thing, I have belonged to
this newsgroup list for a long time. I seldom post, but if a topic arises
that I have an interest in, then I do. Since I do not live in the St. Louis
area, it is hard for me and my boyfriend, Jim to participate in planning
events, etc. We did make it to the fall picnic and had the pleasure of
meeting Glenn, Barramus, Bruce, Myotis and several others on this list. I
have to applaud Glenn for the way he has handled the situation regarding
Chris. Yes, this is a 14 yr. old. From his posts he seems very smart,
intelligent and very ambitious to help, but, he is also extremely rude and
insulting (to adults). It doesn't matter whether the person is 14 or 64,
there are certain guidelines and etiquitte that need to be followed. My
boyfriend Jim deals with this same thing everyday since he oversees the
forum for the company he works for. He has the power to block people and
delete posts if the need arises. Most of these people are all adults and
should know better, but when things go too far, that's when something must
be done. I remember what is what like to be 14, but one thing I was taught,
was if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all. Just
keep your mouth shut. Chris is young and has a lot of growing up to do.
Glenn and others here have worked too hard to make this group what it is. I
would hate to see it be jeopordized by that of a 14 yr. old.

Amy,
