The tacks can be bought at any sporting goods store in the hunting
section. Bernie

What makes a night cache a night cache?
We've never been on a "real" night cache and are thinking about setting one
up for personal use. From what I've read it's basically "follow the
firetack trail". Therefore you really don't need a GPSr -- especially if we
hand somoene a flashlight and say "Start over there." Is it best to follow
a "Red right returning" kind of thing or is there some other rule of thumb
for wandering around in the woods at night with only a flashlight.
Where to buy firetacks?
Nancy
