[GeoStL] Re: Next Weekend's 101?

Sara,

I know last week there were only 8 signed up but it really seems to pick up the
final week. I tried to check on Friday but he was taking a vacation day so the
calls just go into his voice mail. There was a mention of it in the Fri or Sat
sports section of the Post so that always acts as a good reminder.

Last Spring we had 30 and they had to stop accepting anyone because we didn't
have the room. Then last fall we opened it up to 50 and we had maybe 20 because
it was a cold rainy day. This Sat. it's supposed to be partly sunny and 60
degrees, so hopefully we'll have a good turnout.

We'll have 3 different areas for the outdoor session. The A part will be easy
and along a easy trail, good for small children. Area B will be just slightly
off the trail but nothing difficult, and area C will be all off trail but still
not that difficult. We'll also have a micro cache, traditional cache and a
multi cache, all which you can log and get your "find" count updated on
geocaching.com.

The existing 12 caches will be available for anyone wishing to cache in the
afternoon, but some can take several hours to do.

Hope to see you and the "monster" on Saturday.

Any update on how many are expected to participate? I plan on calling my
registration in tomorrow I think. Looking forward to meeting some people. I
shouldn't be too hard to find, just look for the girl w/a small 4 year old,
blond haired, blue eyed MONSTER.
