[GeoStL] Re: NGR: Opera Browser Issues?

Thanks for answering Kirk.  We've deleted history, cookies, cache, updated, 
started, restarted, etc. from everywhere and everyhow we can find  and it's 
still not working.  I've maxed my basic computer clean-up knowledge which is 
more than double of hers lol. 

The websites are prompting for enabling java script and adobe flash player. 
Done and been done several times over.  It's as though it's not install at all 
or rather not being recognized. I found a recently dated technical page  that 
addresses issues with adobe flash player not installing and needing the 
registry fiddled with

This has only just happened in the last two weeks.

I think it's time to call in the pros (my girl friend) here. I'm not about to 
"authorize" a restore or reinstall on my uneducated word alone.

  Are you running the latest version of Opera?  According to the website it's 
9.26.

       Does anyone have working knowledge of Opera and XP?  My friend was given 
a computer with both loaded and suddenly there are websites that won't open 
with Opera -- mostly kid sites like Webkinz, PBS Kids etc.  It was telling her 
to upgrade flash, java player etc and she's done all of that and these sites 
still won't open.  She's now deleting history and cookies. The cookie deletion 
is going slowly as it will only let her manually delete, through the browser 
about 10 at a time.  I've been trying to google for answers and this is all 
I've come up with.  Would anyone have any input?
