Even though the guy sounds like he might be a fraud, the idea of a triangle
shaped void next to large objects seems pretty plausible to me.  Next time I
get together with my physics guy friend (who also loves to think about
disaster survival) I'll ask what he thinks of it.

email list  for Snopes.com.

and among other things this guy is under investigation for fraud. Be sure to
follow the link to the news article about his body-sniffing machine.

The Urban Legends list doesn't keep it's archives, but it's pretty
entertaining to read live.
