I think that is a specimen of the Calvitia Gigantia
(or giant puffball) they are supposed to get as large
as a basketball ...they are not poison to touch and in
fact if the flesh is white and firm they are good to
eat....I have never seen one of the "BIG" ones before
....that is so cool
