[GeoStL] Missouri Sales Tax Holiday

Just a reminder that this weekend, August 3-5, 2007 is the sales tax
holiday.

 

These items are tax exempt:

*       Clothing - any article having a taxable value of $100 or less
(meaning one item cannot cost more than $100)
*       School Supplies - Not to exceed $50 per purchase
*       Computer Software - Taxable value of $350 or less
*       Personal Computers - Not to exceed $3,500
*       Computer Peripheral Devices - Not to exceed $3,500

 

Some counties and cities around the state choose not to participate in
the Tax Free Holiday weekend.  Be sure to check the Missouri Department
of Revenue official site for a listing.
