I know Melissa would like me to have one of those Spot beacons as well. She 
gets worried when I go out sometimes...

I cache alone about 90% of the time.  I had a 
couple of experiences, tho, that spurred me to get a Spot satellite 
beacon.  I figured the price was pretty cheap for disaster 
insurance!
