Chris, you only pay for a course IF you compete. If you want to do them for
fun, it does not cost. So you and all your friends, whether or not they are
scouts doesn't matter, will pay only the youth registration fee. Then you can
do all the courses and all the caches we set out.

Alright...say I got 3 boy scouts and a leader, (the first 2 are me and my
buddy from Troop 961, the second is from another troop) and we want to invite 2
other kids, they aren't boy scouts. Do we need to pay the course "A" fee if we
decide to just do it for fun? I'm trying to figure out cost per person here,
and I'm getting pretty close to figuring it all out. Thanks much!

Chris, I gave all the leaders at the last roundtable a Manual for the
event and invited them to come down. The costs are still the same but you would
be considered a youth. All scouts who attend will be considered a youth. So if
you were not competing, the event would cost the youth registration fee and
then any meals you might want to purchase.

Ok...say I get a small group of teenagers together, including myself...

Do you all care if we just go to socialize and do a course at our own
leisure? Me and my buddy are thinking about going down and I plan on
introducing him and maybe a few others to the fantastic hobby of geocaching. We
may pool our funds and get a hotel room or two. How close is the Microtel to
Hawn State Park? Does anyone recommend a cheaper place to stay?

Oh...quick question for Mike, or maybe Glenn can answer this one. I was
at my Boy Scout Red and Green or whatnot last night and one of the leaders came
up to me and was talking about an upcoming geocaching event. I assumed it was
the MIGC. Are you all doing anything to interest scout troops in the event?
