It is sounding better and better - except for the money. :-) (Cheap a..)
But that sounds just exactly like Lost Outdoors.
When I do something like this trip to S. Forbes Park, or the LaBabque
(sp) trilogy, I like to have a paper map with me. There's no map on my
e-trex, but sometimes I'll load something onto my Pocket PC. If the area
is small enough to print well, having a pair of those maps can be pretty
revealing.
Plus they work quite well long after batteries may have died..
