I have always liked the site lostoutdoors.com for getting satellite 
photos and matching topo maps. Problem was, with dialup they take a 
while to load. That's not a problem now since I switched to ADSL, but 
the site seems to have crashed. Anyone else use that site or have any 
idea where it has gone?

Oh yeah - yes, I do like it better than Google maps. The photos in 
general are much higher resolution, the topos match the photos and many 
points can be plotted on one map. And you never see that "the resolution 
asked for is beyond the resolution available."
