The PDA will need to be GPS enabled. Either with a card or attached or wireless (bluetooth) gps unit. The PDA has to know where it is at. The garmin Ique would work nicely but Bottomfeeder used a Compaq with a bluetooth gps combo and that would work nicely also. No need to read the gpx files like we do now. Speaking of which. I know that russ has not even fired his PPC up in months. I might be able to talk him out of it for testing also. I dont need fast or fancy just something that works and enough people around to use the project when I am done. (If i ever get started) .

Do you need the PDA to have a GPS card in it or just using
the GPX files?

I use a Dell Axium X50 for caching.
