I think I letterboxed before the days of geocaching and it is pretty
fun. I still check the site pretty often to see how it's going in
letterbox land. Some of the oldest geocaches around here were
letterboxes first. Scarab! (GC3C9), Under the Boardwalk,
(GC147) and the old "caches" at the zoo are just a few. The JB
Letterbox (GC3E9D), was great fun. There is even a box at Rockwoods
Reservation. If you are looking for something to do and you are out
of batteries, take a look here. There are now about 115 boxes located
all over Missouri and 15,000+ boxes total.
If you are headed out to a city, county or state park or any of the
fine conservation area caches, check here too, you might be able to
find another "box" on your trip out. Why make two trips? Big
question, strides, steps, paces... they are all *not* the same, right?
