I would have slept through it if it wasn't for our 9-year-old earthquake detector. Isaac woke up, then woke us up. We're all standing there and I said in my stupor, it's just the wind. Then I saw the mirror shaking on the dresser and I said I guess it's an earthquake. Isaac and Kelly were too "excited"/scared and stayed up. I went back to bed. And our worthless watchdogs that bark at everything else didn't so much as let out a wimper.
