- I was actually up at that time and I felt it first-hand. We live about 20 miles or so west of Tim, or about 80-90 miles west as the crow flies from STL. I gotta tell you guys...I had bit of primal fear going on because I know Missouri has a wicked fault system that has wreaked havoc before, especially in 1811-12. For the life of me I thought the "big one" was occurring again.
