Hey the wife and I both jolted out of bed around 430 this morning. We're out here in Montgomery county, that's 60-ish miles west. Odd but now I can say I've experienced an earthquake. Couldn't get back to sleep so I'll probably be crabby all day. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Greene To: geocaching@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, April 18, 2008 7:34 AM Subject: [GeoStL] Re: Let me be the first to say Blue didn't react much, just was wondering why I got out of bed. That was the longest one I've ever felt, and really odd. I called the local police, (not the 911 line) and had a hard time getting through. Once I did, I asked her if there had been a quake, all she said was she hadn't been notified of one. I asked her if she had felt it too, she said she had, but I could hear phones ringing in the background.I bet she was swamped.
