Nice present!

The first time it's turned on it needs to acquire the satellites and data
from your location. Normally the units were tested somewhere besides the St.
Louis area and anytime the unit moves more than 250 miles (while turned
off), it needs to lock on to new satellites. The first time can take 15
minutes or so; just leave it sit outside for a while. It gets the date and
time from the sats also, so wait 'til you get a lock, and all should be OK.
