welcome to the group.  Around st. louis, the fastest way to get info is 
this news group. I saw that you signed up for the MoGeo forums also. 
That is a great resource also.   There are a lot of folks from the KC 
area on that message board that are not found here.  I am sure that 
someone will pop up with some caching suggestions.

I would also suggest making a list of favorite restaurants.
