[GeoStL] Re: Intermediate GPS lessons?

Jen,
Since you have one of those Yugo GPS units, you will have to talk to
someone else to learn how to do projections on it.
A PDA (personal digital assistant) is simply a small handheld computer,
that can display cache pages, maps, several different programs for Geocaching
use, along with a calculator, dictionary, games, address book, personal
planner, etc. There are two main types, the H-P, and the Palm Pilot. I have a
palm,
but I think H-P might be better. They are great for caching, you can store
hundreds of cache pages at a time, and call them up as you need them. That is
a
good description, just ask to check some of them out when you see them out
on the trail.

Enough for tonight, time for bed.

Jim
