That's a hard call. Not remembering where it's hid, or if you've moved it
since I last found it, I'm not sure they would necessarily find it, although
the trail and footprints may cause some suspicion. Not knowing what they are
really looking for, besides a weapon or maybe some clothes, I don't know if
they would be looking in al the nooks and crannies.
My cache at the Glass factory was just a tag so it was really a virtual and
not a hidden container. I archived it as soon as I heard they found her
there, and went back later to retrieve the tag. Also, they solved the case
right away so they didn't do much searching.
It might be worth a call to the local police to let them know it's there so
they won't waste time looking for useless clues.
