Jim,

Thank you for your apology, but it wasn't just the title that made me upset.
Its the fact that you put in your message that "you had a hundred times more
fun finding your first 400 than anyone could finding 400 in one day". I am not
you so I do not know how much fun you had, but I had a blast. It sounded like
a self righteous thing to say and seemed like a put down to us (whether that
was your intention or not). It also seemed like you were putting down all the
cachers who have ever hidden an easy park n grab! I remember the first time I
found a lamppost cache and I thought it was amazing, I never would have thought
of that. I agree that after a few more of them they didn't seem that great,
but that is like any cache once you have seen it, it doesn't seem that great
anymore. The same with hidden rocks, pull apart logs (not logbooks), bolts,
fence posts, pinecones, magnetic strips, and all the rest!!
I also remember having alot of fun when I first started caching, but I still
have just as much fun now!!! Even though I am still backlogged by over 1000
caches, I have always made it a point to thank every single cache placer even
if I wasn't impressed with the hide itself or if I did not find it!!!

Sorry but I thought Brawny clarified that we found 311 caches in about a 15
hour period of time on the first day! 107 on the second day for a total of 418
caches for the trip, roughly 15 DNF's and 3 repairs. That first day we even
hiked for a couple of miles down a trail next to a National Wildlife Refuge,
what a beautiful area on the prarie. I went with three others and they can
tell who they were if they wish! We started in the DIA area and worked our way
NE and back into Aurora!
