Judi,
easy and expert work the same to transfer WP's, so it will work.
Did you go to File/preferences and then Add GPS. After you add the Legend,
then it will display the serial port for you to select.
To make things easier when you download the WP's from GC.com, select "open"
(twice) instead of "save" and it will open EasyGPS and put the WP's there
automatically.
