This should probably be ok with "some" approvers -- UNLESS there is an associated, larger Major Gumball Festival going on in the entire neighborhood. If that is the case then it will never fly. If that is the case then you could call the gumballs pinecones and that might work.


There's a discussion going on right now in the gc.com forums on just this subject.. You wouldn't want the geocachers crashing the larger gumball festival now would you?? Those would be geocrashers I suppose.

I am currently organizing a GEOCACHING event Called "The Great Gumball
Rally". It will be similiar to the MOGA Cleanup Event where you log a cache
for every so many items you pick up. Only at the Great Gumball Rally, the
event will be staged in my back yard and for every 10 gumballs that are
picked up from the sweetgum trees in my yard and put in the dumpster, the
cacher can log a find. Seems like the way the sport is going , or is it.
