I did the same thing at the first SLAGA Summer Picnic I went to, at a cache 
called Ulysses' Micro, pulled that nest out but only one of them got me before 
I could drop it and move away.  If you just drop it they mostly follow it and 
stay with the nest but if you pitch it what do they have where their nest used 
to be but your hand.  Three hits, oh my.  I only got one and my finger swelled 
up for about a half hour.

I just did a cache a couple weeks ago in a guard rail. I stuck my hand in
there and felt to cache. I pulled it out, but unfortunately it wasn't the
cache. It was a wasp nest. I pitched it with lightning speed, but three of
