[GeoStL] Re: Group Hunt on January 1st

-
That sounds like a good idea, Rich. Jim and I want to join the group for the
first part of the hunt and would like to bring our dog, Blue, with us. She can
go into the unfenced area but dogs are not allowed - even in cars - into the
fenced area. So, I propose we start with AWOL, What a Pair, All Wound Up III,
Foo Foo the Snoo and any other caches in that area and then move on to the
other Lone Elk Park caches. I have found all caches except Waypoints R Us, tho,
and would love to be able to check that one off my "to do" list, if possible.
:-)
Sarah

Just a couple of things to remember.....

The park itself is fenced in and it's a one way road through the park. 1
entrance at one end and 1 exit at another end. There are quite a few caches
OUTSIDE the fenced part that you will pass as you go into the park. There is
a small parking area outside the park at the top of the hill for about 10
cars. That is where you would park for the caches outside the fenced park
area. Once inside the park you will probably need to keep moving the cars
between the different cache locations.

You might want to think about meeting at the park and ride lot at I-44 and
HW141 on the outer road to Lone Elk. Then you can discuss plans and cache
sequences. Park and ride lot is at N38 32.328 W90 29.991 (North of I-44 and
West of HW 141).
