[geocaching] Greer Springs Cache

Hi John,

I am sure that by now you have read this same news on "The Local News" or
the "Meet with the Forest Agents" cache
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=14067 but I thought I
better get back with you about out meeting here with the Forest Service
folks anyway. Nancy Freeks told me that there would be no problem placing
the cache back at Greer Springs either in the same location or another of
your choosing. All we need to do is label the box so they don't think it is
a bomb or a box full of drugs and let her know where it's located so if they
run into it again, they will not pick it up.

We are still at odds on caches in wilderness areas. Ms Freeks thinks manmade
things should be kept out of the Wilderness areas so "Discovery" can take
place without manmade hindrances. The forest supervisor Randy Moore doesn't
see it that way, thinks caching sounds like a fun thing and wouldn't mind
going out to find something sometime. Obviously these two need to talk but I
am going to take the word of the Forest Supervisor over Nancy's at this
point.

Anyway, next time you get down to Greer, we have the blessings of the proper
agencies!

I think we have made good progress with the Forest Service. Now we need to
start working on the MDC and State & Federal Parks. :-)

Cache on,

Glenn Nash
