Thanks to everyone who made it to Laumeier this morning on such short notice.
We had a nice mix of young and old people, male and female, and kids, so we
showed a nice showing. Valerie and the photographer thought we were going to
just walk around on the grass, but we told them there were 4 caches in the park
and none on the grass I think they were glad to actually get into the woods and
see what it was really like.
After an enjoyable walk to the caches, and tons of pictures and notes, everyone
left except for Valerie, Glenn and I, and she was ready for a few more. We went
by Murphy's Junkyard and then finished with Lost Caverns.
I think she really enjoyed herself. We were well behaved even without adult
supervision and she's already to get a GPS. Looks like we may have a new member
soon.
She wasn't sure when the article would run but guessed within the next few
weeks. She'll let me know when it's scheduled and should be in the Everyday
section.
