[GeoStL] Re: Garmin is now competing with Groundspeak - new geocaching site

So now the questions is:

What does that mean for the 50, 100 1000, etc pins and coins. Should the finds
refer to GS only or the combined? Since we can now log the same cache twice on
both GS and OC, (as has been done already), I think some rules s/b put in place
as to what constitutes 50, 100, or whatever milestone to qualify for the pins
and coins.

It seems that Garmin automatically created accounts for their previous users. I
went to signup and it said my email address already existed, so I signed in and
PRESTO!, there I was. It will be awhile before it is a real viable option.

I am not too sure what I think about this new site, either. I don't think I'll
be running off to it any time soon, though. At any rate, I signed up to
preserve my caching name.

Not sure what I think of this. But I like the ability for rating the caches.
I also think I like there being competition with Groundspeak. I signed up for
an account.
