try standard decimal format without the N and W. Like this: (Example only:) 38.0560 and -90.6768. BTW: If you haven't explored streets and trips' GPS functions, you can hook up your GPS to your computer and switch to NMEA (sp?) out format and set it up, look under help on Streets and Trips and search for GPS. ~Chris
