Now that's an interesting puzzle!
I used to use QP a lot *many* moons ago, but not at all in recent years.
Using Excel, the 'concatenate' function will probably be part of the
process.
With the csv file open, you'll have to insert a column. In the first row of
that new column enter the path you wish to use. For example, if your
'gcwers1.htm' files were in column A when the file was first opened, they
will probably be in column B after inserting the new column (this obviously
depends where you insert the new column).
After the new column is inserted (assume it's column A) and the path entered
in one cell, then use the 'concatenate' function to combine A1 & B1
(assuming column B now contains the 'gcwers1.htm' info). That gets what you
want for one row of data.
Creating a macro to handle the above probably shouldn't be too daunting. But
getting it to repeat......and repeat only for as many rows of data you
have............., and only after all that is complete to get it to delete
the 'redundant' columns.......that's gonna take a little more
brainpower......at least for me.
