[GeoStL] Excel/Quatro Pro Question

-
I have Excel 2003 and Quarto Pro 11 and like Quarto Pro the most.

I have figured out a way to modify the csv file GPSbabel creates for import
into Street Atlas 2004 Plus, to allow you to click on the hyperlink in
Street Atlas to bring up the html pages Spinner or GSAK will create to load
on your PDA. It is really nice as you do not have to use watcher or GSAK to
find the information for the cache on your laptop when out caching. I used
that for the first time yesterday and it was really nice.

The problem is takes a while to modify the file. So I am hoping someone
could help me figure out an easier way to do it in Excel or QuatroPro.
What I need is some formula or macro.

When GSAK or Spinner creates the HTML files each cache has a html page with
the cache number as the page name. GCWER1 would be GCWER1.htm. So to get
this to work in Street Atlas, I have to give Street Atlas the name and
location of the html file to load. So I need to create a column that has
like C:\cache\GCWER1.htm. Thus I need an easy way to convert GCWER into
C:\cache\GCWER1.htm.

The way I do it now is open the CSV file in Quarto Pro, copy the column with
the GC number into a new spread sheet. I put it in the second colloum. In
the first column I past the path to where the files are and I paste .html in
the 3rd column. Then I select all and then past it into TextPad. Then I
turn on block select and delete the rows of extra spaces. Then I select it
all and copy it to the clipboard. Then I go to Quarto Pro and past it into
the last column of the CSV file. Then I save it and it can be imported into
Street Atlas.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can do this easier?
