    Eric,

I placed a cache on IDNR property at Burksville cave (Illinois
Caverns-south of Waterloo on HW 3). and put it on the outer edge of the
sinkhole where the cave was located.(GC29C8)

I talked with Chris Hespin who was the Natural Resource coordinator and was
there during the hours the cave is open. He thought is was a great idea and
even offered to look after it and let me know if it needed some maintenance.
Chris has moved on and Jim (don't know his last name) has said he would look
after it too.

So in the end, no permit or any paperwork needed, just a nice conservation.

I want to place a cache @ Butron Cave, near Quincy. The cave is located
on IDNR land. I would rather place a physical cache near the cave, but i'm not
sure I want to go through the hassles of getting it approved, so I may just try
to make it an Earth cache.
      What do you all think?

      Thanks & God bless!
