  -     Thanks to all of you that offered suggestions in trying to get my puter 
up and running. After hours and hours over several days on the phone with 
Microsoft, a technician in India finally got me going again. I had talked to 
about seven different so called technicians, but after spending an hour or two 
on the phone with each one, I would always end up at the exact same spot where 
it would hang up. I did not lose any of my files, which of course was the 
greatest. Thanks Bernie.
