Who ever believes a forecast this far out!!!?? It always changes.
Next day forecasts are usually pretty accurate, but they get worse the
further out you are. So who really knows yet.
Right now there is still a good amount of snow and ice in Columbia,
although Jeff City may be different.
There are a good number of Jeff City caches that would still be
accessible in the snow, if that should be the case. I can think of at
least a few that are above ground level. And if there are a bunch of
us caching, tracks in the snow will make finds almost too easy.
With my family of little kids, we may do one or two of the new caches
on the way to the pot-luck. We'll see. But we're mostly looking
forward to meeting more fellow cachers!!

Oh Bernie, thanks for the update, while it's a cold one, it looks dry!
I've been watching the forecast since the 31st showed up on the 10 day
list. Originally they were showing heavy snow. (urggg) It has been
improving somewhat and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Looking out the
window today reminds me how bad the winter weather can get.
FullQuiver, Matt1344, Jim_geocacher and I have been busy putting out
some new caches to keep everyone busy. Most are the quick
cache-and-dash
kind. I've been looking at the list of folks coming and it looks like
there will be a lot there. I've put a link on the cache page that
shows
who is planning on coming and what they are bringing.
I'm hoping for a great time.
