[GeoStL] Cache Suggestions?

Can anyone suggest a couple of rather "easy" kid-friendly caches that would
make a good few-hour outing? We drove by the one at Schaeffer Park this
weekend but there were so many people we  didn't go for it. But, it looked
like a good place to play, have a lunch and take a 5 yr old to find a cache.
Can anyone recommend other areas similar to this?  Are there any that anyone
would recommend -- one that hasn't recently been a crime-scene sight or
involved in a murder investigation?

Also, we've read through the geostl website and the MO Conservation Site --
but are still a little unsure of who to contact regarding cache placement.
Is there a main Conservation contact? We have a couple ideas for cache
placements and don't want to start out on the wrong foot.
