Yep, like Jim said GC added a new feature. You have to sit it up for each
cache type you like and currently it is limited to ten notifications since
it is in beta.

Every so often I will get an email of new caches in the area, but that is
it.   
 
I would like an email notification as soon as a new cache is placed near by.
Anything out there that does this?
 
My only way of finding out no is to log into the geo site and check for
nearby caches daily.
