- Mike, I don't have any of those units, but here's my opinion. I have the legend B&W and a LegendCx, both having "non electronic" compass. I have no problem with it and don't have to calibrate often like some of the owners seem to need to do. I know whenever the batteries are changed, it MUST be recalibrated. But, it can be tuned off too and then works like the non "s" units. If I were going to buy one, it would be the 60Cx, unless there were just a few dollars difference. As far as the 76, it has the same sirf chip but a slightly larger screen and case, and the button layout is a little different. The antenna does not stick out of the top of the case either. It also seems to have a more metallic case than the rubberized 60 series. I know LeRoy has one and really likes it.
