[GeoStL] Re: Bug Logging Problem

- Try this.

Go to your profile. Click on Travel Bugs at the top. If it is not in the list, then click on  the "have found" link above the calendar on the right. When you see it in the list, then click on the link for that TB. If you cannot get to it this way, then you will have to find it with a search of some kind.

Once you have the page for the TB, one of the options is to log the find. Click on that, and in the drop down list, there should be an option to Grab it from somewhere else. Select that to take the TB and it should move back into your inventory. I guess the last one that logs it winds up with it in their inventory, so be quick and dump it after that :-)   Or just wait until you place it to grab it than drop it.

If you have already tried all this, and no one has grabbed it back from you, then "never mind". It is only a theory. But I seem to recall doing something like this when someone thought the TB I found was lost and put it into a graveyard.

Now I know there isn't anything against logging a bug you find at an event and then placing it back at the event.

However the problem is that when people do this the person who actually has the bug and has logged it then later on other people continue to log it it ends up not in their inventory.

So how does one correct this??

I have the SLAGA tribute bug and logged it as soon as I got home.  It was in my inventory, however since logging it other people have now logged it and placed it back at the picnic, so now it isn't in my inventory.

I have now dropped off the SLAGA bug in another cache but can't log it because the bug isn't in my inventory.  I hope I am making sense.  How do I fix this??

Thanks
Jen
