I've never been into geocoins or travel bugs. Actually, I do not understand
how either works or the difference. I never bothered to figure it out. I
am curious why people do what pntball did. Can someone explain why someone
would log coins in archived caches? What's the point? What are they trying
to accomplish?
I have one concern. If everyone did this with all their geocoins/travel
bugs, that would be a lot of excessive email notifications. I would not
want to have to sort through and read them. If everyone did what he did
with all their geocoins and travel bugs, you could get hundreds of log
notices a day.

www.itsnotaboutthenumbers.com will show you a cache to cache milage with the
assumption that you drove beeline from cache to cache in the order that you
logged them. all you need is your "my finds" PQ .zip and a couple of
minutes.

Exactly right.
Lots of folks do this. I gave this idea about a half a thought once but
decided against it. I don't like logging caches the 1st time around, I
really didn't want to have to log a coin into all the caches again. It
would be interesting to see a map of all my cache traveling and how many
miles it adds up to tho.
