Thanks, Gary. We'll file this for reference at the downloads table. And we'll
make sure that the .gpx files that are made available to MOGA registrants are
version 1.0. I'll also update the info on the MOGA forums.

I have found a way, however this requires Internet access and a Premium GC.com
Membership. To do this at MOGA, the user must be able to login to their
Geocaching.com site on a computer to upload the GPX file to their Premium
GC.com
account.
This is the only way that I have been able to load a custom GPX file into the
Geocaching app:
1. Create the GPX file in GSAK. (must be less than 500 caches)
2. Export it into a version 1.0 GPX file
3. Go to your GC.com account.
4. Click on the saved GPX files on the right side of profile page.
5. Upload File and choose the GPX file you created in step 2
6. Go to the saved tab in the GC.com Iphone app then download the new GPX file.
Worked for me.

Using geosphere is the easiest way. I can't get the gc app to read a gpx file
that is not downloaded from the pq section of gc.com.
RGS has a good point too, what if you don't have wifi or data access.
This has implications for people going to MOGA and planning yo use iPhones and
caching on Saturday. The caches will not be released until Sunday so searching
for nearest ca he's or getting a pq won't work. Even using geosphere, if you
can't get the file you have nothing. The gpx could be put in a MOGA dropbox and
I could pick the gpx from there, if data and wifi exist.
I think I have another way but it is not easy.
